Save the world before the holidays!

Before the holidays, calendars are packed full and everything should be completed, set in motion, and taken care of. True to the motto: the world still needs to be saved. In these situations, leaders are particularly challenged and need to achieve maximum impact. What that means and what it takes to achieve it can vary greatly. However, the goal always remains the same: to get employees working at peak performance and to help them grow. The more employees can do and the more they believe in themselves, the greater the opportunities for innovation and self-organization. However, this is only true if leaders are willing to make themselves redundant. After all, where can employees grow if there is no room at the top? This is good news, because leaders should also be allowed to grow.

This means that, as a leader, I consciously choose to delegate. Effective leaders delegate as much as possible—but not too much, otherwise they overwhelm their employees.

With this in mind, we wish you a relaxing summer.
