Case Simulations
Stefan coaches a leader, while Alexandre holds his own.
Doing is like wanting, only more extreme
There are two types of leadership development: the pleasant and the effective.
Leadnow is about trying out instead of speaking of. This is very effective, because leading can only be learnt while leading.
How we do it
We work with 1-10 managers on their current leadership challenges. The case is not directly explained, but is acted out. Alexandre or Deborah, the actors, sit in front of the participants and simulate the employee’s reactions. The participants then slip into the leadership role and try out different ways of solving the case. Together, we reflect on the different approaches and their effectiveness. The theory follows at the end in the form of links to the leadership management handbook.
What Leadnow clients say
‘My initial scepticism towards the format quickly turned into great joy. I had the impression that this format was and remains very valuable for us.’
Based on the results of our last employee survey, we launched a broad development programme for our leaders with Leadnow. Leadnow supported us in the development and implementation of the programme over the course of a year in a pragmatic, needs-oriented manner and with great expertise. We gained a great deal of know-how on leadership topics, practised and reflected on ‘leadership behaviour’ and applied it in practice in an important Ergon development topic. I greatly appreciate the collaboration with Stefan Heer and his team in the combination of leadership and organisational development as a sparring partner, idea provider, perspective opener, moderator and trainer.
